Does Cherri Code support my VS Code extensions?

Cherri Code uses the Open VSX extension registry, not the VS Code Marketplace. Many popular extensions are available, but not all VS Code extensions may be listed or work exactly the same way. See the extensions reference for details.

How do I import my VS Code settings?

  1. Open Cherri Code Settings:
    • Mac: Press CmdCtrl + Shift + J
    • Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + J
  2. Go to General > Account
  3. Under VS Code Import, click the Import button

This brings over your extensions, themes, settings, and keybindings.

Do my keyboard shortcuts work?

Cherri Code shares the same default shortcuts as VS Code. Custom keybindings transfer when you import your settings.

Can I run both Cherri Code and VS Code?

Yes. They run as separate applications and you can use both on the same projects.
